Paul Murray is a street photographer based in Dublin, Ireland. He took up street photography in 2021 and has been shooting on the streets of Dublin and other European cities ever since.

In 2023, he was awarded an Emerging Artist Bursary Award for his unique approach to street photography from The Arts Council of Ireland and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

In 2024, Paul won first place in the Livorno Photo Meeting in Italy. 
He received an Honourable Mention in the Street Macadam Awards 2024. 
He has also been a finalist in:

the Italian Street Photo Festival 2024,
Rome Photo Lab 2024,
PSPI Festival 2024,
Istanbul Street Photography Festival 2024,

Paul is co-founder of the Dublin Street Photography Festival. 
Paul completed his studies in Fine Art, Photography and Media Design in DIT in 1990. He has been a practicing graphic designer for over 30 years and is currently creative director in one of Ireland’s leading design studios. 

Paul recently bagan to share his passion for street photography through workshops, one-to-one tutorials and he has hosted some free photowalks and lectures to photography enthusiasts in Dublin.
